Every year on 26th August we celebrate Women’s Equality Day. Because on this 19th amendment was finally certified and adopted into the Constitution of the United States granting women the right to vote. This day was first celebrated on 26th August 1973. Since then this day is celebrated as the Women’s Equality Day.
